How Can Mediate Help?

Divorce or separation can be resolved through various means, depending on the couple's situation and preferences. One option is resolving matters informally between the couple, which allows them to negotiate and settle their issues privately. Another option is using Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services. ADR includes various methods such as mediation, collaborative law or arbitration, each offering different approaches to resolving disputes. Mediation, as one form of ADR, is often regarded as a cost-effective option. It allows both parties to work with a neutral third party (the mediator) to help facilitate discussions, identify common ground, and reach mutually agreeable solutions.

If ADR such as mediation is not successful in resolving the issues, it is a legal requirement to attend Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting (MIAM) before you can apply to the family court (unless you have a valid exemption).

We work closely with MEDIATE UK, a leading mediation provider offering a range of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) solutions tailored to each client's unique needs.
